EXAMPLE Google Earth Activity for Kids:
  1. Find your house (type in your address in the search box)
  2. Drop a “pin” to mark your house and name it
  3. Find a place in the United States you would liketo visit
  4. Drop a “pin” and name it
  5. Click on the ruler at the top and draw a linebetween your house and your place you want to visit (you might have to zoom outby clicking the minus sign on the navigator until you clearly see both yourpins. See how many miles are between thetwo pins
  6. Now find a place on a different continent youwould like to visit
  7. Drop a “pin” and name it
  8. Follow directions from #5 it is _miles.
